This is possibly my favourite smoothie of the week and easily the most simple! Spiced Pear is raw’s answer to a winter tipple. Coconut water means this drink is loaded with electrolytes and the ginger naturally helps protect against winter colds.
1″ piece ginger root, peeled
2 pears, chopped
2-3 cups coconut water
1/2 tsp cinnamon, plus more for garnishing
1 tbsp natural maple syrup
Blend the ingredients, dust over the remaining cinnamon and get ready to feel like it’s Christmas again.
